    • Preventing destruction of farmlands, crops, and farm settlements<\/p><\/li>

    • Protecting farmers and local communities from criminal attacks<\/p><\/li>

    • Guarding agricultural assets from open grazing\u2013related damage<\/p><\/li><\/ul>

      3. Anti-Open Grazing Enforcement & Livestock Management Support<\/strong><\/h3>

      Under the Livestock & Anti-Open Grazing Law, the Corps is empowered to:<\/p>

      • Prevent destruction of farms caused by open grazing<\/p><\/li>

      • Stop clashes between herders and farmers<\/p><\/li>

      • Regulate and support modern livestock farming practices<\/p><\/li>

      • Manage environmental impacts of livestock movement and open grazing<\/p><\/li>

      • Enforce policies that encourage healthy livestock production<\/p><\/li>

      • Promote safe, controlled, and modern rearing methods<\/p><\/li>

      • Ensure livestock owners obey all state livestock management regulations<\/p><\/li><\/ul>

        This service helps maintain peace, food security, and agricultural stability across the state.<\/p>

        4. Crime Prevention, Surveillance & Rapid Response Patrols<\/strong><\/h3>

        Our officers carry out highly coordinated operations, including:<\/p>

        • Day & night patrols across highways, forests, remote areas, and waterways<\/p><\/li>

        • Surveillance of crime-prone zones<\/p><\/li>

        • Prevention of kidnapping, robbery, cultism, cattle rustling, terrorism, and related offences<\/p><\/li>

        • Quick response to distress calls and emergency incidents<\/p><\/li><\/ul>

          5. Arrest, Investigation & Court Prosecution<\/strong><\/h3>

          Amotekun officers are legally empowered to:<\/p>

          • Arrest offenders with or without a warrant where the law permits<\/p><\/li>

          • Detain, search, and seize items connected to crimes<\/p><\/li>

          • Profile, register, and investigate suspects<\/p><\/li>

          • Execute court-issued warrants<\/p><\/li>

          • Prosecute offenders directly in court in accordance with state laws<\/strong><\/p><\/li><\/ul>
